TODAY is the day, as we celebrate Xmas on the 24th in Denmark. When I was a child my mother and father would decorate the tree while we were in bed on the 23rd and we would not see it until the door was opened on the 24th, when we were ready to dance around it and open parcels. This is another fond memory I have of Xmas past and we have done the same in my own family. However, as I am the Mum - I did see it last night when we were ready to call it a day. BUT LOOK what happened during the night!!
Santa arrived and so did all the parcels - PURE MAGIC isn't it?? From my house/blog to everyone reading this "Merry Christmas" and thank you for visiting me. Thank you Erica for the challenge - it has been so much fun and I have learned about new blogs to visit in 2008.Close-up photo is to show you the lovely flags my friend Stine has made for me. I have had them for a few years now. We always have flags on our tree (in fact I have a decoration with the flag of Texas too) but I used to have paperflags - these are SOOOO pretty. And YES that is real candles on our tree - that is very traditional in Denmark - I will never forget the look on Erica's face the year we celebrated Xmas here!! LOL...
